• NO In-patient Obstetrics/Gynaecology (Consultant Led)
• NO In-patient Paediatrics service
• Day Surgery only
• NO In-patient surgery (without ICU)
• A vastly reduced medical emergency service
• A minor cuts & bruises A + E only
• NO intensive care

While the county sees growth in;

• Population
• Massive Tourist Population
• Established Industry
• Emerging Industry
• Economic Growth

And the potential for a major incident that only an established, well equipped casualty Department could cope with.
